How It Works: All skill-levels welcome. Our class occurs on-site after school and is developmentally appropriate for the ages listed. We advise all children to be the minimum age for the class by the season start date to set them up for success in our program.
Important: Your child must be a Kinder-2nd grade student at this location in order to enroll.
Season Details: Welcome to Soccer Shots at AESA Prep Academy!

Important Information:

Soccer Shots takes place on-site at HSS after school. Coach will meet children at the designated meeting point between the basketball court and astroturf playing space once school dismisses.

At the end of our soccer class, parent pick-up children will be brought to the school's front lobby. Pick-up and sign-out your child at the FRONT of the building. Please respect the coach's time and pick up your child on time (4:30 p.m.). If your child attends aftercare, coach will bring them to their aftercare teacher.

To Bring: Because of the playing space (we either play on the basketball court or astroturf), cleats are NOT permitted. Gym shoes and comfortable clothes work great. Be sure your child is dressed for the weather and has a water bottle.

Please note that due to the school clubs calendar, our last class offered will be on Wednesday, May 17. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen cancelations, we will NOT make-up the session and instead offer a CLASS CREDIT back. Credits accrued can be applied towards a future season or Soccer Shots program.
Weather Policy:
In the event of a weather cancelation or delay, we try to notify families at least one hour prior to the start of sessions when possible. If weather changes rapidly, which is common in Central Texas, we will send an automated text and email with cancelation information.

We do not offer individual make-up sessions due to illness, vacations, or unforeseen absences. See our Refund Policy on our website for more information.

PREMIER

5 TO 8 YEAR OLDS (K-2ND)

Soccer Shots Premier focuses on individual skill, fitness and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for children to be challenged through fun games and team interaction.

Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Health & Safety

Our Product Development Team has thoroughly modified our curriculum and operating procedures to best accommodate the practices endorsed by public health officials. We've also created a health and safety course, specific to our current situation, that all Soccer Shots coaches will be required to complete prior to returning to on-field coaching. 

During our sessions your coach will:

  • Avoid high-fives, fist bumps and unnecessary physical contact
  • Use rings, spots, or orange cones as "home base" to keep children spread out when possible
  • Avoid the use of pinnies 

Coaches will monitor their health daily. When possible, we encourage smaller group sizes and/or larger field setup to allow for the distancing of participants and observers. 

We request that families that observe sessions follow these guidelines for the health and safety of other families and our coaches: 

  • Wash or sanitize hands before entering Soccer Island
  • Adhere to state and/or local jurisdiction regarding face covering requirements 
  • Stay home when you are sick and keep your children home from soccer if they are sick 
  • For Public/Park sessions, if participating in a Mini (ages 2-3), we ask that only one family member per child be present on the "Soccer Island" field to reduce crowding (but feel free to rotate out)

Will My Child Get a Soccer Shots Jersey?

  • Youth jerseys are distributed once every 11 months and are sent upon payment of the enrollment fee, regardless of the number of seasons you sign your child up for within that year.
  • If you have not been prompted to pay your enrollment fee, you also will not be receiving a jersey for this season.
  • Jerseys are mailed out from our national distribution center within 7-10 business days and not from our local office. Please direct all jersey inquiries to [email protected].
  • If you need a new jersey before the automatic 11-month renewal, check out the merchandise store at store.soccershots.com.
